Or even cotton yarn, if you don’t like acrylics. I don’t use Red Heart for afghans, but I think that for projects such as this pumpkin and toys, it’s perfect, since it holds its shape so well.

If you look to the right of the video under “More Info”, the written instructions are posted on my crochet blog. It will have the details for how many rows. You can easily add more or less rows.

Oh and i have a idea you could only do just a few rows intel there are three ribs in it and tie it togerther so it looks like a pepper i dont know if that would work but it would be kind of cute.
This pattern is fantastic! I made a pumpkin and then decided to put potpourri wrapped in cheesecloth inside the pumpkin with the batting. now it looks AND smells great!
