Horse halloween costume?

We are having a halloween party at our barn. I need some help getting ideas on what to dress up my horse and i. Every year though we are judged and win prizes etc. every year though i have won. The judges always seem to go for the cutsy girly kind of things do any of you guys have any ideas?

The previous years i have been mrs. claus on rudolf i have been mary poppins on my carousel horse and i have been cruela devile on my dalmation
ps my horse is bay

Answer:

One year we were hippies, which was really fun. I made bell-bottoms for my mare and I, and I wore a tie-dye shirt and painted a peace sign on her butt and my cheek. I also put flowers in my horse's mane and tale.

My horse is blind in his left eye, so we were pirates once. He even had an eye-patch.

If you are looking for something more girly, you could dress up as bumblebees. Or you could be a bumblebee and your horse could be a flower. That would be cute =) not sure how you would do that though. Maybe if your horse was a patch of flowers, and you could cover them in flowers and make a flower-looking pad to sit on. =P
