barbie costume Q&A

Question:

What is needed to have a successful barbie costume?

I am 14 almost 15 and for school we do dancing classes with the year 10 boys.
i am in year 9
one of the nights is a fancy dress night and i want to look good.
i want to go as barbie.
i have very blonde hair too
my ideas to wear are:
- hot pink dress
- hot pink heels
- hot pink lipgloss

but what else would make me look like barbie and you would definitely know i was barbie

i dont want to get there and people be like what are you?
so ideas pleaseeee!

Is this a good costume Idea or should I just not bother dressing up?

Im broke this year so didnt buy a costume, and I dont have any "big" plans, my boyfriend and I are just meeting up with some friends at a bar. Anyway He is not dressing up. I was thinking of being "rocker barbie"
My nickname is barbie...everyone thinks I look like a barbie so I said why not? and just spook it up by being "Rocker barbie" since I already have piercings and Ill add heavy makeup and arm and legwarmers, wallet chain, destroyed mini skirt, and so on...anywho do you think thats a good idea? Or should I just not dress up??
I will be wearing a short that says barbie, and wearing barbie like things like pink legwarmers, heels...yadayada. Plus everyone knows me as barbie doll
